Struck by the exponential nature of the virus, the contagion and how it grows, infects and kills I began to collect data daily from a variety of news, media sources and academic journals on a daily basis. As the virus continues to spread around the world, challenging the structures of society, it questions the very way we live, work and communicate. The project continues to grow, providing a sense of daily calm in the chaos, with journal entries eliciting themes and ideas for new work. Whether the journal itself becomes its own document or it is the research and process to seed new work, time will tell.
